University (of Georgia) approves new institute

Discussion at a University Council meeting Wednesday afternoon revolved around two kinds of green — University money and environmental literacy.

The University Curriculum Committee approved the creation of a new Bioenergy Systems Research Institute, represented at the meeting by Robert Scott, University associate vice president for research and interim director of the institute.
